business overview

Allyacht Spars Australia was established in 1976. Geoff Berg started with the Company and over the years has taken over from his former partners, now owning the Company outright. In the early years, masts were produced using mast extrusions from other manufacturers, but Allyacht Spars Australia soon developed its own mast designs and extrusions which allowed it to grow independently in accordance with its developing philosophy. Geoff has since implemented a strong team to manage the affairs of the company thus encouraging its’ further development.

Since its inception, the Company has moved from its rented premises at Hemmant to it own purpose-built facility at Lytton and has expanded its operations and is now Australia's largest yacht mast manufacturing company. It has initiated trends, many of which are now the industry standard in Australia. Yacht masts have been fabricated for yachts from under 20 foot up to 200 foot in length. In conjunction with spar manufacture, the Company became a provider of quality deck hardware, and also moved into the industrial trade as a supplier of flagpoles and industrial rigging. Further diversification came with the establishment of a subsidiary company, ASA Yachts, focussed on yacht-building, with the specific advantage of enabling production of custom-designed yachts incorporating the design, construction and supply of the complete yacht, rig, and deck hardware package at the one facility.
